  1. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING

  3. NewSoft Software License Agreement
  4.  
  5. This document is a legal agreement between you and NewSoft
  6. Technology Corporation.(Newsoft)  Please read this Agreement
  7. carefully. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the
  8. Software Program, you agree to be bound by the terms of this
  9. license agreement.
  10.  
  11. 1.Copyright
  12.   The Software Program (the "Program") is owned by NewSoft,
  13.   and is protected by the Republic of China and international
  14.   copyright laws and international treaty.
  15.  
  16. 2.License
  17. A.Under this license, you may:
  18.   (1) use the Program on only one machine at one time, unless
  19.       this Agreement specifies otherwise;
  20.   (2) copy the Program for backup or in order to modify it.
  21.  
  22. B.You may not:
  23.   (1) use, copy, modify, merge, or transfer copies of the
  24.       Program except as provided in this license;
  25.   (2) reverse assemble or reverse compile the Program; or
  26.   (3) sublicense, rent, lease, or assign the Program.

  28. 3.Limited Warranty
  29. A.NewSoft warrant that the original CD or disks are free from
  30.   defects in material and workmanship, assuming normal use,
  31.   for a period of three(3) months from the date of original
  32.   purchase.

  34. B.Except for the express limited warranty set forth above,
  35.   NewSoft grants no other warranties, express or implied,
  36.   regarding the CD, disks and related materials, their fitness
  37.   for a particular purpose, their quality or their merchantability.
  38.   No oral or written information or advice given by NewSoft, its
  39.   resellers, agents, or employees shall create a warranty.
  40.  
  41. 4.Limitation of Remedities
  42. A.NewSoftÆs entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall
  43.   be, at NewSoftÆs option, either
  44.   (1) return of the price paid or
  45.   (2) repair or replacement of the Program that does not meet
  46.       NewSoftÆs limited warranty and that is returned to NewSoft
  47.       or its authorized representative with a copy of your receipt.
  48. B.NewSoft shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost
  49.   savings, or any incidental damages or other consequential
  50.   economic damages arising out of your use or inability to use
  51.   such Program, even if NewSoft, or its authorized representative,
  52.   has been advised of the possibility of such damages. NewSoft
  53.   shall not be liable for any damages claimed by you based on
  54.   any third party claim.
  55.  
  56. 5.General
  57. A.NewSoft may terminate your license if you fail to comply with
  58.   the terms and conditions of this Agreement. In either event,
  59.   you must destroy all your copies of the Program.
  60. B.This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of China.
  61.   If any provision of this Agreement shall be unlawful, void, or
  62.   for any reason unforceable, then that provision shall be deemed
  63.   severed from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity or
  64.   enforceability of the remaining provisions of the Agreement.
